Jared played college football at California and also was a first-team All-Pac-12 quarterback in 2015. He was selected by the Rams with the 1st overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft. He started his rookie season as the backup to Case Keenum, Later he took over as the starter during the latter half of the season. In 2018 he helped lead the Rams to a 13–3 record and a trip to Super Bowl LIII, the franchise’s first Super Bowl appearance since 2001 season. Jared has been selected to two Pro Bowls.
