  • On June 25, 2018, Lauren addressed the commencement exercises of Old Bridge High School. She was awarded an honorary high school diploma, although she did not attend that school.
  • Lauren elite career started in 2012 at the U.S. Classic, where Lauren placed 11th in the junior division at the age of 12. Through the Classic, Lauren qualified to the National Championships in St. Louis, where she placed 21st after two days of competition.
  • In July 2013, Lauren was added to the U.S. Junior National Team. Later she went to Chicago for the U.S. Classic, where she managed to place sixth all-around and won the floor exercise title.
  • In 2014, Lauren fractured her wrist when she slipped off the beam while in a training session. She returned to competition soon after the injury but suffered a torn patellar tendon & dislocated kneecap, resulting in six months out of gymnastics. Lauren resumed training in the fall and attended the final U.S. training camp in November.
  • At the 2015 U.S. Classic in July, Lauren won the junior all-around title with a score of 58.450 and winning uneven bars (15.000) and vault (14.900).
