Severn Cullis-Suzuki, born in November 30, 1979, she is a Canadian television host, environmental activist, speaker, and author who spoke around the world about environmental problems. In 1992, at age twelve, she was able to raised money with members of ECO to go to the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. With group members Vanessa Suttie, Michelle Quigg and Morgan Geisler, she presented environmental issues from a youth point of view at the summit, where she received huge applauded for a speech. She is known by the title “The Girl Who Silenced the World for 5 Minutes”.

 

Before Fame: Before fame, Severn Suzuki attended Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro at the age of 12.
